Job Purpose:
Operate a powered industrial truck to transport materials from loading dock to designated warehouse location.

Responsibilities:
- Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.
- Daily inspection and documentation of Forklift
- Inspect product for damage, properly scan by machine or manual entry to ensure safe transport and proper placement
- Move controls to drive propane or electric-powered trucks and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.

Requirements:

Mission of the Position:

The material packer is responsible for, but not limited to, the quality-oriented, timely, economical and thorough processing of goods to repack from inbound packaging to outbound packaging.

Job Purpose

As a Pellet Mill Operator, you will operate and maintain several pellet mills, ensuring optimal feed rates, adjusting rolls/dies, and monitoring pellet quality to meet company standards; assist in conducting QC testing, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform ash tests, and maintain a clean work environment.



Responsibilities

Analyze equipment performance and make necessary tooling and equipment changes to produce desired throughput and quality results

Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition

Review work order specifications or instructions to determine materials, ingredients, procedures, extracting, forming, pressing and compacting materials to produce pellets.

Adjust machine components to regulate speed, pressure and temperatures of machine, amount, dimensions and flow of materials and ingredients.

Monitor machine operations and observes indicator lights and gauges, such as thermometers, voltage meters and timers to detect malfunctions.

Perform/coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions.

Perform/coordinate housekeeping to required standard.

Maintain consistent production quality to required standard.

Follow all workplace and job safety procedures.

Complete accurate reporting as required.

Communicate operational information as required.

Enter maintenance work requests as applicable.

Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution.

The Chip Mill Operator is responsible for all aspects of continuous operation of the chip mill, including safety, equipment operation, monitoring, machine set up and cleaning.

Safely operate all assigned equipment in the chipping process include knuckle boom, front end loaders, grapple loaders and bull dozers.

Troubleshooting and operation of all woodyard equipment i.e. debarker, chipper, bark hog, all chains, and conveyance systems

Operate computers and HMI screens to monitor and correct operational values as needed to ensure smooth and consistent operation of the chip mill process.

Maintain woodyard equipment and machinery by performing daily checks and preventive maintenance

Responsible for daily inspections and the performance of basic maintenance to keep equipment in clean, good working order.

Maintain, replace, and repair, all parts of the chipper as needed (clamps, holders, wear segments, knives chipper knives

Maintenance of the required paperwork.

Operate computers, monitor and correct operational values

Job Purpose

Responsibilities

Inspects and prepares a roller head for disassembly to rebuild according to proper procedures

Job Purpose

Enviva is seeking a Crane Operator who will be responsible for unloading logs from log delivery trucks, storing logs in a stack under the portal cane and feeding logs to the log processing line.



Responsibilities

Load and unload bundles from trucks using portal crane.

Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms and lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions and damage.

Move levers (with both hands), depress foot petals (with both feet) and turn dials to operate crane, or other moving equipment for lifting, moving and placing loads.

Monitor logs being fed into the debarker drum and notify chipper operator of any problems (i.e. hung up logs, jams, etc.).

Escalate visual issues and remove eject in-feed logs for embedded rocks or other saw damaging debris.

Lubricate crane parts in adherence with manufacturer and company recommendations.

Maintain contact with Area Mill Manager and coworkers.

General housekeeping during down time to include shoveling, sweeping and hosing to clean area.

The Front Desk Associate represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay. Customer service is the key to this position in the hospitality business and the manner used is important to both the customer and the team members. The associate must be able to perform all clerical and mechanical operations of receiving reservation information, recording it, and processing the forms and information so that rooms will be properly reserved and accurate records kept for forecasting purposes. Determines a guest’s reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. Helps guests complete registrations cards and then assigns rooms accommodating special request whenever possible. Verifies the guest’s method of payment and follows established credit-checking procedures. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks, and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel. Works closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work. Maintains key logs and key storage ensuring accuracy. Must be sales-minded to ensure the highest level of room revenue. Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure. Knowledge of Opera Operating Systems. Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs.

Reports to the Shop Foreman in Tuscaloosa, AL.

- Controls inventory levels, minimizes inventory on hand while at the same time eliminates downtime due to out of stock conditions.
- Executes and documents company established preventive maintenance inspection and service schedule for assigned equipment.
- Supervises/ensures the proper disposal of controlled waste product and material in accordance with applicable federal, state and local guidelines and requirements.
- Maintains appropriate records of waste disposition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience: Graduation from high school or GED, valid driver’s license. Four years experience with industrial sheet metal fabrication or electrical assembly systems desirable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Workspace is an industrial plant setting. The noise in the work environment is usually moderate but on occasion can be loud. The work environment includes a heated plant and warehouse as well as outdoors. The environment is often dusty and/or dirty.

Painter
- Pay: $12-14/hr depending on experience
- Automotive spray painting experience would be helpful but not necessary. Great opportunity to grow from apprentice to journeyman!
- High School diploma is not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receiving product for either the Fabrication or Letter departments, prepping the product for painting (Bondo, sanding, inspecting, masking)
- Helping the current painters paint the product.
- Inspect product after painting for mistakes.
